I started Candle Queen when I was looking for a unique birthday present for my mum. I wanted something truly personal that wasn’t mass-produced and struggled to find something that fit the bill and was within my budget.

Mum loved gorgeous scented candles, so I decided to make her one. After a few failed attempts, I finally created a beautiful candle, printed a personalised message on it, and presented it to her. She was delighted, but I soon realised the label would eventually rub off. To find a more permanent solution, I discovered candle engraving and gave my husband the task of research and development.

And that was the start!
